Racing Simulator Installation in Jumeirah

Racing simulator installation for Jumeirah's established villas, working around older layouts, majlis conversions and narrow staircases.

Jumeirah is one of Dubai's older residential areas, and its villas reflect that. Many were built before open-plan layouts and wide staircases became standard, and that has real consequences for how a racing simulator gets installed. This is not a newer community where every room is pre-wired for a home office. It is established family housing, often with a majlis, a study, or a spare room that has quietly become storage over the years.

Working with an older layout

Villas in Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3 vary widely in age and layout, but a pattern repeats often enough to plan for it: narrower internal doorways than you would find in a newer build, staircases that turn rather than run straight, and power points positioned for a previous generation's furniture arrangement rather than a modern equipment setup. None of this stops an installation. It changes how we approach it.

The cockpit frame arrives part-disassembled and is built inside the room rather than carried in whole, which sidesteps most doorway and staircase width concerns even in older properties. If the room you have chosen is on an upper floor with a tighter or turning staircase, mention it at booking so our installer carries components up in sections rather than assuming a straight, open run.

The majlis as a racing room

A recurring conversion we see in Jumeirah is the majlis — the formal sitting room many older villas were built with, often separate from the main family living space and used less frequently than it once was. A majlis that has fallen out of regular use is a strong candidate for a racing setup: it typically has its own door, sits away from bedrooms, and does not interrupt the household's daily traffic. If your majlis is still in active use for guests, we can look at a study, spare bedroom or an underused corner of a family room instead.

Cabling in an established home

Older wiring is the other practical consideration worth raising early. Some Jumeirah villas were built with fewer power points per room than current households need, on the assumption that fewer devices would ever share a space. During installation, our team checks what the room offers and works within it, running cables along existing skirting or behind furniture where we can. If a room genuinely does not have enough capacity for the setup safely, we will tell you plainly rather than improvise, and can suggest bringing in an electrician for an additional point if that is the better long-term fix.

A discreet, contained visit

Jumeirah villas are family homes, often with more than one generation living under the same roof, and an installation visit should not disrupt that. We keep the work contained to the chosen room, communicate clearly about timing, and tidy packaging and offcuts as we go rather than leaving them for later. Most installations are completed within a single visit without the rest of the household needing to work around us.

What's included

The AED 6,640 turnkey package covers the MOZA R5 Direct Drive base, steering wheel, pedal set, manual shifter, premium racing cockpit, monitor or TV mount, professional delivery, full assembly and installation, software configuration and calibration, complete system testing, Steam setup assistance and three installed games — Forza Horizon 6, Assetto Corsa and BeamNG.drive. A gaming PC, screen, keyboard and mouse are not included, and most Jumeirah households already have some combination of these from an existing study or family room setup. Full pricing sits on our pricing page, and the hardware itself is detailed on the MOZA R5 platform page.

Support once it's installed

A 60-day warranty and 30 days of technical support come with every installation, covered fully on our warranty page. If a cable route needs revisiting after the room is rearranged, or a game needs re-linking to Steam, our support window covers that follow-up.

If you are weighing Jumeirah against a coastal apartment nearby, our Palm Jumeirah page covers how those logistics differ, and our racing simulator space requirements guide is a useful reference before you settle on a room.

Respecting a home that has history

Many Jumeirah villas have housed the same family for years, sometimes decades, and that shapes how we approach a job that involves altering part of the home, even in a small way. We do not assume a room's purpose has changed just because it is quiet during the day, and we always confirm placement with whoever makes that decision in the household before any drilling or mounting begins. If a wall-mounted screen is not the right choice for a particular room's finish or history, we can build the setup around a freestanding arrangement instead. The goal is always a result that suits the specific home, not a fixed template applied regardless of what the room actually is.

Arrange your installation

Questions

Jumeirah questions.

Can the cockpit fit through the narrow doorways in an older Jumeirah villa?

The cockpit frame arrives part-disassembled and is built in the room itself, so doorway width is rarely an issue even in older villas with narrower internal doors than newer builds. Staircases can be tighter, so tell us if the room is upstairs and we will plan the carry accordingly.

Is a majlis a good room to convert for a racing simulator?

A majlis that is used infrequently is one of the more common rooms we convert in Jumeirah, since it is usually separate from the main living areas and already has its own access. If the majlis is still used regularly for guests, we can suggest a different room instead.

Do older Jumeirah villas have enough power points for the setup?

Some older villas were wired before the assumption of multiple powered devices in one room. If the room you choose only has a single socket, our installer will flag it during the visit and can advise on a safe way to power the setup, or recommend an electrician for additional points if needed.

Will installation disturb the rest of a family household during the day?

We aim to keep installation contained to the chosen room, working quietly and tidying as we go. Most Jumeirah villa installations are completed without disruption to the rest of the household's day.

Can you route cables discreetly in a villa with existing skirting and finishes?

Where possible, we run cables along existing skirting boards or behind furniture rather than across open floor. In villas with finished walls we are not able to conceal cables inside them, but we will always aim for the tidiest visible route available.

How do you handle installation on an upper floor with a narrower staircase?

We carry components up in sections rather than as a single assembled unit, which works even in villas with narrower or turning staircases than newer builds. Let us know the staircase layout at booking so the team arrives prepared.
